Spring 2008 Sales List
2008 marks our 28th year breeding "horses to match our mountains." We've always emphasized naturalness of gait, sweet disposition, substantial bone, athletic ability and beauty. Central to our breeding program for the last decade has been the late Pride Piper, a son of Pride of Midnight H.F. known for his barefoot running walk and striking appearance. His son Piper's Pride of Absaroka, a powerful, athletic chestnut like his sire, is now siring colts as is Absaroka Silver Dollar, our ultra-gentle grey pasture breeder. Please note:
All horses are registered and blood-typed.
All prices include transfer of registration and brand inspection (required in our state even though the horses are not branded).
All prices subject to change (particularly as horses progress in training).
For horses currently in training, “started” refers to approximately thirty days training including ground work and 10-15 rides. “Well-started” indicates considerable riding on the ranch outside of the arena. A performance checklist is kept showing the accomplishment of each horse and is updated after each session.
