Hi Everyone,
My name is Charley the Schoolhouse Dog, aka Sir Charles of Nye, and to my close friends, Chuck. Sometimes I hear people refer to me as "cougar snack" and "eagle bait". I'm not sure what that is all about but it is always said in a sad concerned way.
I am just a pup so this is my first home. I live with the teacher. She treats
me very well. 
I am a spoiled pup, whatever spoiled means. I have eight kids
at school. They are my buddies. I go to school
in the morning with my teacher and then I wait for the kids to come. Skyler is always first and I
will sit at the top of the steps for 15 to 20 minutes every morning waiting
for him. The kids are awful busy at school. They work, work, work and I
sleep, sleep, sleep. I try to stay out of the way so the teacher doesn't give
me a desk and a pile of books. I'm really good at recess.
I am a cocker spaniel and weigh about 22 pounds. I'm getting pretty fluffy right now with my winter coat.
I am learning a lot being the school dog. But I haven't figured out who those
big brown dogs are with the white tails. They sure can run and jump. They
hang around our house in the evening and in the morning. I don't bark at
them. I just watch them to see what they're going to do next. My teacher must
really like them because she keeps calling them "Dear".
Well, it's time to go now. I've been working all day. I tore up two cardboard
boxes. 
Recycling is a big job.
