Sugarloaf Mountain Outfitters offers you a quality deer and elk hunting experience in beautiful southcentral Montana.

Our facilities include a log cabin as well as a forest service tent camp.

• The cabin is accessible by vehicle and is very comfortable, complete with shower. From here, 4x4 vehicle and horseback hunts are provided on 5,000 plus acres of privately owned land.
• The tent camp is a 3-hour horseback ride from the cabin and includes padded cots and heating stoves in the sleeping tents. From here, horseback and foot hunts are provided on 25,000 plus acres of Custer National Forest.
• Both facilities are utilized during the typical hunt.
• The food is prepared by experienced cooks and is hearty and plentiful. Low fat and other specific diets can be accommodated.

Our guides are professionals who take pride in their hunting expertise. Our hunts are traditionally 2 on 1, however, 1 on 1 hunts can be arranged.

We take special care in not overbooking or overhunting the area. The ideal number of hunters per party is 4 with the total number of hunters per season averaging 12.

Our service includes field care of meat and trophies. Qualified meat processors and taxidermists are available locally.

The Montana big game hunting seasons runs for 5 weeks starting towards the end of October and ending towards the end of November.

We are located 75 miles southwest of Billings, Montana, which has daily commercial airline service. We provide transportation to and from the airport.
